AAFP Membership Types and Rates

The AAFP supports its members in improving the health and wellbeing of cats through high standards of practice, continuing education, and evidence-based medicine. The AAFP is a recognized and trusted leader in the veterinary industry, providing education and resources, and supporting high standards of feline care.

All memberships are valid through the calendar year unless noted.

Individual Veterinarian | $229

This membership is designed for practicing individual veterinarians. 

Membership is valid through December 31, 2025.

Recent Graduate/Intern/Resident | $149

This membership is designed for veterinary practitioners who have graduated from veterinary school within the past year and a half and are either in their first year of practice, in an internship, or residency program. 

Senior/Retired Member | $135

This membership is designed for retired veterinarians who have reached 70 years of age and have been a continuous member for the last 5 years.

Veterinary Technician Member | $114

This membership is designed for veterinary technicians/nurses.

This membership is designed for practice managers.
