Monadnock Kitty Rescue & Adoption is a 501(c)(3) no-kill cat sanctuary and adoption center in Jaffrey, NH providing care and second chances for adoptable, stray, abandoned, and feral cats.
We are currently looking to hire a vet of record to start immediately.
The position currently is one day a week, that day can be of your choosing. We can either transport to your clinic or we have a fully equipped surgical suite here in Jaffrey that is available to use.
Our vet of record will be responsible for health certificates, exams, dentals, prescribing medications, euthanasia if needed, and all medical care for our rescue, excluding emergencies and specialists.
Currently our spays and neuters are being done at clinics, but those can also be done in house.
Our rescue is home to a feral cat sanctuary, so experience with feral cats is a definite plus, but not required.
Salary will be discussed with potential applicants.
