We have a family oriented very low turnover staff who are very good with all temperaments of cats and clients. As a privately owned clinic, we cannot compete with the corporations for signing bonuses and other financial incentives, but what we can compete with is flexibility. You can essentially design your own schedule as long as we can make it work with our layout. If you need to come in late, leave early, take extra time off – we will work with you. If you need to bring a child into work due to a short term child care issue, we will work with you. While we have a low base salary, we do pay prosal with no negative accrual so the more you work, the more you make and we follow the standard associate veterinarian pay rate of approximately 25% overall including benefits and taxes of what you produce which does make your take home salary relatively equivalent to any clinic in our area. As a veterinarian with us, you would have autonomy over what tests you run and what you prescribe as long as the patients receive good quality of care and are treated as you would treat your own family’s pets. We will not lock you into a contract – if you choose not to stay with us, you are able to leave at any time with a 30 day notice. Our clients love us – we haven’t done a single advertisement in well over 10 years as we haven’t needed to – clients find us by word of mouth. And, we have fun! Our staff is routinely found laughing with each other. We promote hard work but we also promote having fun while doing it.
