Cat Depot, Sarasota’s only rescue, adoption, and education center dedicated exclusively to saving cats and kittens, offers a public Clinic with full-service wellness & emergency care for owned cats, & a Shelter Hospital providing medicine to homeless & abandoned cats, preparing them for adoption. Our mission is to save lives, find loving homes, and improve the destiny of homeless cats. No matter their story before or after their time with us, while they are with us, they are loved. Our Clinic provides full-service medicine for owned cats, from wellness to surgery, ultrasound, dentistry, & orthopedics. Through our Spectrum of Care approach, grants, and tiered fee schedules based on financial need, we work hard to ensure cats receive care when they need it most. Our Shelter Hospital provides medicine to homeless & relinquished cats for adoption, foster kittens, neonates, TNVR, and cats impacted by hoarding, cruelty, & other rescue scenarios. Our equipment: Samsung ultrasound, digital dental & full-body x-ray, Sedivue urine analyzer, neonate incubator, cold laser, Idexx in-house lab. Relief and Staff veterinarians work up interesting cases, collaborate with experienced colleagues, and support cats with a wide range of medical needs. Our staff is well trained & passionately believe in our mission. Combined, we have over 130 years of veterinarian experience for case collaboration.
