We are a privately owned small animal and exotic animal veterinary practice located in Abbotsford, BC, seeking to hire an experienced full-time veterinarian. Our clinic owners are actively involved in the hospital and we are looking for someone interested in a long-term future with the practice, including eventual partnership/ownership. We offer a flexible work schedule and a well-supported work environment with two hospital managers and an experienced veterinary team including RVTs, trained veterinary assistants, health and safety committee, and CSRs. We currently operate with six veterinarians. Each appointment doctor is assigned a veterinary assistant to aid with record keeping and appointment management throughout the day. Surgery days are rotated on an equal basis among the doctors. An individual RVT manages each individual sedation or anesthesia procedure. Our clinic is closed on Sundays and all Statutory holidays. We are Fear Free Certified and Cat Friendly Certified; we have an entirely separate feline wing of the hospital dedicated to our feline and exotic patients. Our hospital is well equipped with digital radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy, dentistry, orthopedic surgery capabilities, class four laser therapy and underwater treadmill.
