About Us
Cat Care of Fayette is a privately owned, feline-exclusive practice that also cares for exotic small mammals, including rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets and chinchillas. Our caseload has grown more than 30% this year and at the end of 2026 we’re moving into a brand-new, expanded facility with 4 exam rooms, a dedicated surgery suite, an imaging room for x-rays, ultrasound, and endoscopy, and a boutique boarding suite next door. We’re looking for our second doctor to grow with us.
We’re a small, close-knit, independent team. You’ll work directly with the owner, a veterinarian who started here as a technician and now leads the practice. Cat Care of Fayette has been present in the Fayetteville-Peachtree City area since the early 2000s so it has an intimate relationship with its clients and surrounding businesses.
DVM Duties
– See wellness, sick and urgent care appointments.
– Open to in-house hospitalization at the discretion of the DVM
– Perform routine soft-tissue surgery and dentistry, with room to grow into or offer advanced procedures. We currently perform PUs and FHOs along with other elective procedures
– Work up cases thoroughly. We practice medicine based on what each patient needs, not volume targets.
– See exotic patients if you’re interested. Experience is welcome but not required, and we’re happy to teach.
NEW GRADS – Mentorship, Not Micromanagement
You’ll have an owner-DVM who loves working up cases together and keeps an open door, plus the freedom to practice your own medicine. Onboarding is hands-on: a shadow period first, then your own schedule with breathing room built in while you settle in.
