Membership Levels & Rates

The FelineVMA offers an array of membership options for veterinarians, no matter what your career stage might be. Please note that some membership benefits are restricted based upon geographic residence.

Individual Veterinarian – $229

• Designed for practicing individual veterinarians of all practice and organization types. Veterinarian Members residing in North America may opt in to receive the print edition of The Feline Practitioner, along with receiving all other membership benefits, discounts, and access privileges. Veterinarian Members are also voting members in the FelineVMA and eligible to serve on the Board of Directors. Additionally, two or more veterinarians who practice at the same clinic and join/renew at the same time may be eligible for reduced rates.

Recent Graduate – $149

• Veterinary practitioners who have graduated from veterinary school within the past 18 months and are in their first year of practice are eligible to receive a reduced FelineVMA Membership rate. Ensure your graduation year is recorded in your profile to receive the reduced rate.

Intern/Resident – $149

• Veterinary practitioners who have graduated from veterinary school within the past year and half and have begun an internship or residency program are eligible to receive a reduced FelineVMA Membership rate. Ensure you select “Resident” or “Intern” as your role in practice and that your graduation year is recorded in your profile to receive the reduced rate.

Senior/Retired Member – $135

• Non-practicing retired veterinary practitioners who have reached 70 years of age and have been a continuous member for the last five (5) years are eligible to receive a reduced rate. Senior/Retired Members residing in North America may opt in to receive the print edition of The Feline Practitioner, along with receiving all other membership benefits, discounts, and access privileges.

FelineVMA LATAM – $95

• Veterinary practitioners with permanent residence in Latin American countries are eligible to receive a reduced rate. Ensure your country of residence is selected in your profile to receive the reduced rate. FelineVMA LATAM Members receive the digital edition of The Feline Practitioner, along with receiving all other membership benefits, discounts, and access privileges.

The FelineVMA has consciously made efforts to expand our membership offerings for veterinary technicians.

Veterinary Technician – $114

• Designed for practicing individual veterinary technicians, nurses, technologists, and specialists of all practice and organization types. Veterinary Technician Members residing in North America may opt in to receive the print edition of The Feline Practitioner, along with receiving all other membership benefits, discounts, and access privileges. Credentialed veterinary technicians are also voting members in the FelineVMA and eligible to serve on the Board of Directors.

Joint NAVTA/FelineVMA Credentialed Members – $125

• The FelineVMA and NAVTA have partnered to offer a joint membership that for one fee, provides membership in both organizations. Veterinary technicians, nurses, technologists, and specialists who are licensed, registered, or certified to practice in any of the United States are eligible for the Joint NAVTA/FelineVMA Credentialed Membership. You receive full member voting privileges and opportunities to serve on the Board of Directors in both organizations, in addition to all the programming and discounts available to members. Joint NAVTA/FelineVMA Associate Members – $160

• The FelineVMA and NAVTA have partnered to offer a joint membership that for one fee, provides membership in both organizations. All other veterinary professionals at any career level who wish to belong to both organizations may join at the NAVTA/FelineVMA Associate Member level. Associate members are ineligible to vote or hold office in both organizations. NAVTA/FelineVMA Associate Members receive access to the member discounts and programming of both organizations. Visit NAVTA to enroll in the joint membership program.

The FelineVMA has consciously made efforts to expand our membership offerings to encompass more professionals and volunteers who are dedicated to advancing feline healthcare and wellbeing. Below is a list of our subscriber levels. Subscribers are ineligible to vote and serve on the Board of Directors.

Practice Manager Subscriber – $114

• Veterinary practice managers (hospital administrators, office managers, facility managers, etc.) are eligible for the Practice Manager subscriber level. Practice Manager subscribers residing in North America may opt in to receive the print edition of The Feline Practitioner, along with receiving all other membership benefits, discounts, and access privileges.
  
  Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians who are practice managers or owners should join one of the Veterinarian or Veterinary Technician Membership packages in order to receive full Membership privileges.

Support Staff Subscriber – $49

• This subscriber level is for front office staff, veterinary assistants, customer service representatives, care coordinators, and all others on the veterinary team. Support Staff subscribers receive the digital edition of The Feline Practitioner, along with receiving all other membership benefits, discounts, and access privileges.

Shelter/Rescue Subscriber – $49

• This subscriber level is for non-degree-holding veterinary professionals and volunteers who work in shelters and rescues (i.e. kennel attendants, care attendants, volunteers, adoption counselors, groomers, et. al.). Shelter/Rescue subscribers receive the digital edition of The Feline Practitioner, along with receiving all other membership benefits, discounts, and access privileges.
  
  Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians who volunteer or work in shelters should join at the Veterinarian or Veterinary Technician Member levels.

Feline Support Subscriber – $49

• This subscriber level is meant for all non-veterinary-degreed individual professionals (breeders, groomers, industry professionals (non-DVM/technician), behaviorists, feline-only house sitters, et. al.) who have an interest and passion for feline healthcare and wellbeing. Feline Support subscribers receive the digital edition of The Feline Practitioner, along with receiving all other membership benefits, discounts, and access privileges.
