Corvallis Cat Care is a full-service independent feline veterinary hospital located in the beautiful Willamette Valley in Corvallis, Oregon. Our woman-owned clinic values providing individualized care to our feline patients and our cat-loving clients through our integrative medical approach. We are located just 45 minutes from the Oregon coast and a short 2-hour drive to the Cascade Mountain range.

We’d like you to have the following skills:
• Veterinary professional who has proven skills in anesthesia monitoring and recovery (gas anesthesia preferred), venipuncture, low-stress handling, radiography, and IV catheter placement.
• Candidates who have proven experience creating and maintaining exceptional working relationships with clients.
• Self-directed veterinary professional who is able to lead with minimal supervision.
• Seasoned veterinary professional who thrives working in a small team.
• Candidates with exemplary attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate medical records.
• Veterinary professional with a strong commitment to the profession’s ethical standards and ability to hold themselves and others accountable.
• Demonstrated ability to use professional judgement in situations that are vague, unclear, or have multiple solutions.

The best candidates will also have these skills and strengths:
• CVT preferred (2 years of full-time employment experience as a Veterinary Technician can substitute for a CVT credential in some instances).
• Reception skills, including phone calls, appointment scheduling, document processing, and basic computer skills.
• Candidates who appreciate, adore, love, and respect cats.

More Position Details:
• This position is a full-time role, with hours between 34-40/week, negotiable.
• This position is Monday-Friday, with hours generally between 8am and 6pm only. We are not open on the weekends or at night and do not schedule staff during those hours.
• Successful candidates will work in a team environment to complete treatment and care plans in coordination with veterinarians, as well as counsel and educate clients on best care practices.
• The successful applicant will be cross-trained in all areas of clinic operations.
