Whisker Wellness Center, a privately owned cat-exclusive hospital in Gig Harbor, seeks a veterinarian to join our growing practice. We opened in 2024 and believe in progressive medicine while celebrating our love of felines.
What We Offer

* A team of passionate cat people – we utilize fear-free handling and perform diagnostics and treatments in exam rooms. You’ll never see scruffing here.
* Generous Pro-Sal compensation – $120,000 base salary with 22% production bonus. No negative accrual.
* We close at 5 pm. No evenings or weekends EVER!

* Close relationships with specialists: we regularly schedule radiologists, cardiologists, and surgeons to perform diagnostics/procedures in our hospital. Referral hospitals are just minutes away. We coordinate teaching rounds with a local internist and VIN consultant to stay current with the latest medicine.
What We Seek
* Cat enthusiast – our clients expect nothing less!
* Experienced practitioner (minimum 3 years experience) with a strong interest in surgery and dentistry.
* Full time (4 day work week) candidate ideal but also open to a part-time position.
* Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
* Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Washington state
* DEA license
* USDA accreditation or willingness to obtain
