Associate Feline Veterinarian
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Veterinarian to join our well-established feline exclusive full-service practice in Lafayette.
$100,000 Base Salary + Production
Hospital Overview
Feline Exclusive full-service veterinary practice
Loyal, long-standing client base
Up to date medical equipment on site: Digital Intraoral radiographs, Abdominal Ultrasound, Surgery Suite, Digital Radiographs, Echocardiogram
3 month mentorship is available with our experienced feline exclusive veterinarian
Current veterinarian will be in the pursuit of ABVP diplomacy- this is a chance to watch a colleague go through the process
2:1 veterinary technician-to-doctor support ratio
Enjoy hands‑on mentorship across a wide range of areas, including abdominal ultrasound, feline dentistry, advanced soft‑tissue procedures, feline internal medicine procedures (i.e. but not limited to abdominocentesis, esophagostomy tube placement, blood transfusions) and beyond!
Hospital Hours
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday : 7:30 am – 5:00 pm
Saturday 7:30 am – noon
Currently Wednesday & Sunday Closure
4-4.5 working days per week pending Saturday rotation with other doctors on staff
No after-hours emergencies or calls
Weekend duties and after hour hospitalization duties are to be evenly split amongst doctors at the practice and are only necessary if a hospital patient is receiving weekend care
Compensation
Base Salary: $100,000
Production bonus paid and no negative accrual
