New CFP Toolkit Additions
New marketing tools have been added to our online CFP Toolkit for your exclusive use! We have three new options for carrier labels/stickers that you can affix to cat carriers during your patient visits. In our anniversary package, we included several sheets of these stickers for your use and we have created a template for you to use in three different designs, shown below. All the stickers are 2” x 4” and can be printed on an Avery 5163 label template.
Activities Planned for the Remainder of 2022
As we enter the seventh month of 2022, we will have more ongoing activities planned for our 10-Year celebration! These include:
- A special in-person celebration at the 2022 AAFP Annual Conference, October 27-30, 2022 in Pittsburgh, PA! Register for the Annual Conference today!
- The launch of a new educational info-quiz for cat caregivers designed to create more awareness of Cat Friendly Practices® and their ability to provide a less stressful veterinary experience, and provide foundational caregiver education on a variety of topics (value of routine veterinary care, natural feline behaviors, litter boxes, how to feed cats, signs related to senior cats, and more!).
- The release of the new Guidelines on Cat Friendly Veterinary Interactions and creating a Cat Friendly Veterinary Environment.
- Distribution of a new report that provides empirical data demonstrating that Cat Friendly Practices® who employ CFP techniques have a significant financial reduction in the cost of their workers’ compensation claims as well as other benefits. View the article in the JFMS.
Additionally, we are working on another report where preliminary data shows that CFPs have higher clinical visits per feline patient seeking care, clinical patients with wellness visits, clinical patients with diagnostics, and wellness patients with diagnostics; higher revenue per feline clinical visit and per feline clinical patient; and more feline clinical and wellness patients with bloodwork. Additional findings will be shared.
