This course covers a comprehensive approach to oral health and preventive health in cats, discussing appropriate care at each life stage, beginning in kittenhood, and how to best communicate about dental care with owners to increase compliance with dental care recommendations.

  • Attendees will learn how to identify common oral issues in kittens and young adult cats
  • Attendees will learn to use communication and caregiver education tools to make their oral care discussions with caregivers more effective when discussing home care techniques and regular professional dental care
  • Attendees will learn current best practices for routine dental care in cats

Speaker Bio

Heidi Lobprise, DVM, DACVD

Dr. Lobprise is a 1983 Texas A & M graduate. She became board certified in dentistry in 1993. After 10 years in industry, she returned to dental specialty practice in 2014. She is the author/co-author of three dental texts, has written many chapters and articles, and has lectured internationally.
