ON-DEMAND
Despite advances in automated hematology analyzers, blood morphology evaluation remains a critical diagnostic tool in feline medicine. Blood morphology provides essential insights that cannot always be captured solely through automated cell counts from the CBC, particularly in cats whose hematologic parameters present unique diagnostic challenges.
This case-based presentation will discuss the new technology of automated, in-clinic blood morphology and how it complements the CBC to provide diagnostic insights in the veterinary care of cats.
Learning Objectives
After attending this webinar, participants should be able to:
- Understand the relevance of hematology testing and important considerations in feline patients
- Recognize the importance of blood morphology as part of comprehensive hematology testing
- Understand the opportunities of automated blood morphology to bring comprehensive hematology results to the point-of-care
