Student Chapter of the AAFP Program
The AAFP is excited to support all veterinary students with the Student Chapter of the AAFP (SCAAFP) Program. All veterinary and veterinary technician schools and universities are eligible to form a Student Chapter of the AAFP.

How Do You Start a Student Chapter?
If your school is interested in starting an official Student Chapter of the AAFP, the two steps are to:
- Have the Student Chapter President (or potential officer) reach out to the AAFP and let us know.
- Identify a Faculty Advisor. The Faculty Advisor needs to contact the AAFP to register for their free AAFP Membership before the Chapter can be formed.
Our team will provide a Welcome Kit with useful resources for the Faculty Advisor and Student Officers to help launch and run a Student Chapter of the AAFP.
