Cats walk a fine line between stable and unstable, awake, and asleep making it tricky to accurately gauge the patient’s condition. This lecture will review and discuss feline anesthetic and analgesic protocols, tips and tricks for intra-operative care, as well as how to troubleshoot common issues.

Speaker Bios

Kristen Cooley, CVT, VTS (Anesthesia/Analgesia)

Kristen Cooley is a seasoned veterinary technician specialist in anesthesia and analgesia as well as a self-proclaimed cat lady. She is the founder and CEO (and employee of the month) of the Wisconsin-based anesthesia consulting company – Veterinary Anesthesia Support & Training. Kristen is also a published author and illustrator of anesthesia related books and articles and a frequently sought-after speaker. She lives in Madison, Wisconsin with her family.
