2024 Veterinary Technician Scholarship Award Program
Here’s your chance to apply for a complimentary registration to the AAFP Annual Conference!
This year, the AAFP has expanded its veterinary technician education to provide two days at our Annual Conference with technician tracks. Royal Canin is pleased to support veterinary technicians in the USA and Canada interested in feline medicine by awarding 20 complimentary 2024 AAFP Annual Conference registrations to credentialed veterinary technicians. The 2024 AAFP Annual Conference will be from September 26–29, 2024 in Minneapolis, MN.

The application period is open until June 17, 2024. Credentialed veterinary technicians interested in applying for a complimentary 2024 AAFP Conference registration must submit their application by Monday, June 17, 2024. Please note the scholarship only applies to the in-person conference registration.
Selection:
Chosen candidates will be notified via email by June 26, 2024. Those who are not selected will still have the opportunity to register for the 2024 AAFP Annual Conference prior to the early bird deadline.
Please note:
- Submission of an application form does not guarantee complimentary conference registration.
- Technician Scholarship Award recipient contact information will be shared with the sponsor, Royal Canin.
- Those awarded are required to attend the 2024 AAFP Annual Conference and participate in a lunch with the sponsor on Saturday, September 28, 2024.
Registration:
- Candidates must reply via email by Monday, July 10, 2024, notifying the AAFP they accept the Technician Scholarship and will attend the 2024 AAFP Annual Conference.
- If a candidate does not reply by the deadline, an alternate candidate will be chosen for the scholarship award. Please ensure your email address is correct and you are receiving emails from info@catvets.com.
- Complimentary conference registration includes the conference fee, breakfasts, coffee breaks, three receptions, tote bag, conference proceedings (online), giveaways, access to the Exhibit Hall, and more! (Please note this does not include the Pre-conference Day Registration, ancillary sessions, or additional items as they must be purchased by the attendee.)
- Scholarship recipients must attend the conference and a technician forum lunch meeting with AAFP leaders hosted by Royal Canin. Registration instructions will be provided in the scholarship acceptance email.
- Please verify that the conference dates (September 27–29) will not conflict with your schedule before applying.
