The 2022 AAFP Conference will be located in the bustling city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Conference will be held in the David L. Lawrence Convention Center with rooms available at two hotels, both within walking distance. Known as "The Steel City" for its steel-related business and "The City of Bridges" for its 446 bridges, Pittsburgh is a city surrounded by rivers and green space and home to a lively cultural scene.
The vibrant city of Pittsburgh, with its small-town feel, is sure to surprise you with its unique landscape and diverse variety of things to do and see. Shedding its past identity as a city known only for steel production and coal mining, the city that is wrapped in rivers is now intertwined with 24 miles of riverfront trails and parks that any outdoor enthusiast is sure to enjoy. Ride one or both of Pittsburgh's iconic inclines, the Duquesne Incline and the Monongahela Incline, for spectacular views from atop Mt. Washington.
