Educational Program

2021 Annual Conference – Hybrid Event

Join colleagues from around the world as you access AAFP's cutting-edge and high quality feline education. We have planned something for everyone as the 2021 AAFP Conference is being planned as a hybrid event which means it will be both in-person and available virtually. The in-person part of the meeting will take place at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Arizona. If you are comfortable, we invite you to join us in Phoenix to interact in-person, earn CE, visit the exhibit hall, and connect with a network of colleagues, friends, and speakers. Please read further in the brochure about our safety protocols.

If you would prefer to stay close to home (or are even scheduled to work), then you should definitely join us online to access our virtual conference experience. Both in-person and virtual attendees will have access to live-streamed and on-demand sessions until June 30, 2022 which gives you plenty of time to access the platform and top notch feline-specific CE!

RACE Standards

New! RACEtrack® is a free service that allows veterinary professionals the chance to record all continuing education (CE) course work in a single centralized database. This system easily communicates your CE to your credentialing agencies while also allowing those authorized agencies to retrieve your CE. You can visit the website here: https://aavsb.org/ce-services/racetrack.

As a CE provider, the AAFP is required to upload an attendee roster to this platform. This attendee roster requires your license number and state, and we are therefore asking for this information when you register for the conference. Attendees will be identified by license number and the licensing jurisdiction with no other personal information.

RACE Credits

  • In-person attendees can access up to 28.5 CE Hours live in-person and a total of 59 CE Hours with both onsite sessions and on-demand access. In-person attendees can choose from 66 CE Sessions as well as other presentations.

NY State CE

Conference Proceedings

Proceedings Notes are provided to each attendee. Two options for obtaining the proceedings notes are the online Proceedings or the Printed Proceedings Book. Since we know you cannot be in two places at one time, the notes for most of the sessions will be included in the conference proceedings so you will not miss out on any valuable information. We apologize that Proceedings Notes will not be available for sessions by Drs. Duncan Lascelles and Kristin Shaw.
