The 2021 AAFP Conference was planned as a hybrid event which means it will be both in-person and virtual. The in-person part of the meeting took place at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
The AAFP is excited to announce this year's annual conference theme, Anesthesia, Analgesia, & Surgery. This will be a truly unique conference that encourages attendees in various stages of their professional development to increase their feline knowledge and elevate their standard of care for cats. Sessions will include content such as local block techniques, anesthesia for senior cats, peri-operative pain management, orthopedic examination, OA pain, maladaptive pain, anesthesia/analgesia for endocrine comorbidities, anesthesia for oral/dental disease, beyond opioids and NSAIDs, euthanasia sedation protocols, various surgery techniques and recommendations, and much more!
