Showcase your research to over 1,500 attendees from around the world at the 2019 AAFP Annual Conference and 5th World Feline Veterinary Conference. Our attendees are interested in the most up-to-date information in feline medicine and research. We are now accepting submissions of oral presentations and poster abstracts for the 2019 AAFP Conference which will take place October 31 – November 3, 2019 in San Francisco, CA.
The AAFP Conference provides you with a unique opportunity to engage with leaders in feline medicine, gain recognition as an expert in feline research, and gather feedback from your peers and colleagues.
The submission deadline for oral presentations and posters has ended.
We invite practitioners, academicians, and researchers who are passionate about advancing feline medicine, to submit an oral presentation or a poster abstract to the AAFP by the date listed above.
All accepted oral presentations and poster abstracts will be published in the Journal of Feline Medicine and Surgery (JFMS) as originally submitted. Any changes to the title, authors, or abstract itself must be reviewed and approved by the Reviewer Task Force. The authors will receive a proof from the JFMS publication office that needs to be checked thoroughly to ensure there are not any errors in print.
All oral presentations and poster abstracts must be submitted through AAFP’s online system. One of the following preferences must be selected:
- “Oral Presentation” - indicating review ONLY as an oral presentation.
- “Oral or Poster Abstract” - indicating the author would prefer oral presentation of the material, but will also have their material reviewed as a poster abstract.
- “Poster Abstract” - indicating review only as a poster abstract.
The primary author is required to complete and submit the Disclosure Statement for all authors of the oral presentation or poster abstract before submission. Please note that submissions will not be considered without the Disclosure Statement, even if there are no disclosures to be made.
