Board Nominations
This is your opportunity to help shape the future of the AAFP!
The AAFP Board of Directors' role is to provide strategic guidance, direction, and resources for the Association; act in the best interests of the Association; and provide fiduciary oversight to lead the Association towards a sustainable future.
The Nominations Task Force is seeking nominations for the 2022-2023 Board of Directors. Four Director positions and the position of President-Elect will be open for election. These terms will begin on October 30, 2022.
Directors serve a two-year term; the President-Elect serves for one year and becomes President the following year and then Immediate Past President. The minimum requirement to serve as a board member is at least three years membership in the AAFP. Volunteering, involvement in committees, attendance at AAFP conferences, and the ability to work as a team player will also be considered by the Nominations Task Force when submitting its recommended slate of nominees to the Board for consideration.
